FEPOW DAY 2009

Once again this year we will be celebrating FEPOW Day in Taiwan – this time on Saturday August 15th.

We are planning an event similar to last year, with a POW and military artifact exhibition, the showing of a POW film, a Remembrance Service and a time for discussion and learning about the FEPOWs.

Announcements will be sent out to local friends and supporters giving the venue for the event and the exact details, but those in Taiwan should set aside August 15th now in their date books and calendars and plan to be with us on that day.

FEPOW Day is a special day that has been set aside around the world to remember all those who were held as Japanese prisoners of war during World War II. We hope that many of our members and supporters will take this opportunity to join us in remembering and paying tribute to those who suffered – and those who died, for the freedom we now enjoy.
