The Taiwan Prisoner of War Memorial Park

The Taiwan / Kinkaseki Prisoner of War Memorial and the Eternal Flame of Peace and Remembrance are located in the Taiwan Prisoner of War Memorial Park on the site of the former Kinkaseki POW Camp, Jinguashi, Taiwan. The park was officially opened and dedicated on November 20, 2005

The Prisoner of War Memorial was dedicated on November 23, 1997
and the Eternal Flame sculpture was dedicated on November 19, 2006

The Prisoner of War Park is now a
beautiful place of honour and
tribute to the men of Kinkaseki and
all the other camps on the island,
and is dedicated to their memory.
