| 2005 – The 60th Anniversary of the end of World War II Next year – 2005 – is the 60th Anniversary of the end of World War II. Numerous celebrations and events are being planned all over the world for the coming year to commemorate this memorable event in history. The Taiwan POW Camps Memorial Society is also working on several projects and planning several special events to commemorate the Taiwan POWs’ story next year. Please watch the homepage of our website for more details and if possible plan to be with us for these occasions.
